The Broken Spirits Network (BSN) is a site run by volunteers, and we can always use some help. This forum is designed to list areas where the BSN could use a helping hand. If you are passionate about combating abuse and have a service or skill you would like to offer please feel free to let us know.

The physical, sexual, or emotional maltreatment or neglect of children by parents, guardians, or others responsible for a child's welfare.

The intentional emotional and/or physical abuse by a spouse, ex-spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend, or date.

Elder abuse is the intentional or unintentional hurting, either physical or emotional, of a person who is age sixty or older.

Hazing is a broad term encompassing any action or activity which does not contribute to the positive development of a person; which inflicts or intends to cause physical or mental harm or anxieties; which may demean, degrade, or disgrace any person, regardless of location, intent or consent of participants.

The crime of sexual interaction without the consent of the victim, often through force or threat of violence. Although the term rape has traditionally applied to the male use of force in sexual relations with females, applicable laws have been revised in many jurisdictions to include possibilities where a male is the victim.
